Honor Code
Please do not look up answers on the internet or post any answers. That is in direct violation of the HONOR CODE that you signed at the beginning of the year! To copy and paste or look up the answers and then paraphrase someone else's ideas from the internet is called plagiarism. Make sure that all tests and portfolios are completely your own work. Plagiarism can result in a zero on the ENTIRE Test or Portfolio.
If you feel that you need to look up the answers then you need to do the following:
Stop the test
Close it out
Review the lesson and/or Nearpod
Add to your notes
STUDY your notes!
Take the test
*Students - when taking an assessment, you may use the notes that you take but please do not use anything else. It is not appropriate to google your answer. If you start a test and find you don't know the answers, you may stop, close the test and go back and review and add to your notes. You may also text your teacher to ask her questions while you are taking the test!
Leaving questions blank and submitting assessments without answering all questions is also not OK! This would be considered a non-engagement behavior issue and results in a zero on the questions you did not answer per NMCA policy. If you do not understand the question, you need to ask for help from your learning coach or your teacher. Remember, you can text your teacher to ask questions while you are taking the test!
Our goal is to help you learn so please make sure you are asking for help when you need it. I don't mind answering questions, even if you ask the same question more than one time. Please reach out for help!
